Carl R Baker

Carl R. Baker retired after 40 years in law enforcement and public safety. He served as a Colonel in both the New York State Police and the Virginia State Police, as Deputy Secretary for Public Safety to Virginia Governor George Allen, and as Chief of Police for Chesterfield County, Virginia. After retiring, he operated his own public safety consulting firm and was a Partner in Decide Smart, LLC. Carl is also a veteran of the United States Army, having served in both the Engineer Corps and Military Police Corps. A native of New York, he and his wife, Katherine, now reside in The Villages, Florida.
