Karen Head

Karen Head was raised on a farm in Virginia. She grew up loving horses and has turned this love into her vocation. After living in many places across the United States, Karen has settled in the mountains of North Carolina and is the director of Equinection (equinection.org). Here, Karen works with horses to help people come to a better understanding of themselves. In the book, Horse as Teacher, she writes a brief love story of her relationships with horses, family, and angels.
