Dean Raven

Dean Raven is a writer of fantasy/horror and urban fantasy. He is author of the Bringer of the Dark series, which tells the epic tale of the battles between two brothers and the primordial god, Kragn.

The first book in the series, Dark Farm, follows the brothers as they repair their broken relationship against a backdrop of wizards, gods, monsters and reanimated dead things. This sets the scene for Kragn Rises, in which the brothers and their associates grow to become worthy adversaries of Kragn and his many manifestations.

Dean's first novel, Remember My Name, is rather different to Dark Farm. It's an urban fantasy and concerns Sheri Starting, a sex worker, and Danny, a street kid, whose lives are irrevocably changed when Sheri saves the life of a young child. The book was published in late 2010 and then just sat there for ten years while Dean went on to save lives himself as a member of the health department.
