John W. Ferguson

John W. Ferguson is an editorial photographer based in New York City, photographing many of the most famous faces and places in the world for Getty Images as well as a wide variety of commercial and corporate clients. As a sport photographer, he began covering MLB and the NFL in 1991 with select teams and publications, most notably the Boston Red Sox and the New York Football Giants. Ferg is a graduate of Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara and maintains a strong California connection both professionally and personally. He and his wife, Nicola, live on the New Jersey Palisades overlooking the Hudson River and Manhattan. John and Nicola are strong animal and wildlife preservation advocates, traveling often to experience a variety of species other than the two cats that run their home.
