I was born in San Diego, CA, and raised in poverty. Yet God blessed me, gave me an education, and I became a physician. I married my wife Janet, and we have been married now for 40 years. Knowing all this was from Him, we served at the Nigerian Christian Hospital for 16 months after I finished my residency. After returning to the USA, I worked as the Medical Director of the Abilene State School, a residential facility for people with mental retardation, for many years, and retired from there. For the past 13 years, we have been going on mission trips to Ghana. First we planted churches, then we started maturing churches. The Bible is my favorite book, and I thank God that He has given me this retirement so I can study this Book of books in detail.
