Edward L. Paciorek (1957-) was born at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and has spent all of his life living in the metropolitan Detroit area. Until recently, "Mr. P." was an English teacher at Troy High School, in Troy, Michigan, where he had been teaching for the last twenty-five years. Before switching to the high school, he taught drama, art, and drafting for five years at Boulan Park Middle School, also in the Troy School District. He is currently retired.
After spending a number of decades immersed in the theatre (1972-2000), directing, designing, and acting, he recently began writing a series of novels about the adventures of an incarnated angel, Ophan, Prince of Thrones. Begun in May of 2010, within about five months all five novels were completed, tracing Nicholas Freeman's life from his high school senior year in 1975 up to 2010.
Supernatural experiences have always been quite commonplace in Mr. Paciorek's life, but he found over time that casually sharing those experiences with others invariably lead to long, strange looks, and short, unsatisfying relationships.
Presenting the unbelievable as fiction seemed the next logical solution, which lead to the creation of the novel series.
Fact or complete flight of spiritual fancy, Mr. Paciorek invites the reader to choose for himself. Learning all of God's most guarded secrets has been an amazing journey for him, and one frought with strange and almost overwhelming obstacles. It is now left to the individual reader to decide whether what Mr. Paciorek has shared through the character challenges of Nicholas Freeman is nothing more than a literary come-on, or if it is indeed a method for seeing God eye-to-eye, which Mr. Paciorek believes he himself experienced way back in 1971 at the tender age of fourteen.
Many people feel that seeing is believing, however, in Mr. Paciorek's experience, believing is seeing!
