Wendy Dingwall

Wendy Dingwall formerly owned and operated a travel agency in South Florida. After moving to Boone, North Carolina, in 2003, she gained employment as Operations and Sales manager for a local publishing house, and got involved with the local writing community. In July, 2009 she started Canterbury House Publishing, Ltd. and is currently the acting CEO and Publisher.

Dingwall's first novel, Hera's Revenge: An Yvonne Suarez Travel Mystery was published in 2011. It is the first in her series where Dingwall's love of travel, mystery, and story-telling melds and resonates. Library Journal reviewed it favorably, saying, “Both in tone and locale—to Mary Stewart’s The Moon-Spinners. The author’s love of Greece and her insights into a tour group’s dynamics make this light romantic suspense debut a welcome distraction for an armchair traveler. A series to watch.”

Dingwall’s second novel, Celtic Curse, also featuring amateur sleuth, Yvonne Suarez, was published in 2013. It is a cold-case mystery set in Scotland and has received excellent industry reviews. Both books won the High Country Book of the Year Awards for Fiction in their respective years published.

Dingwall’s third Yvonne Suarez Travel Mystery was release October 1, 2016. Advance reviewer, author of the Web Glass Shop Mysteries, Cheryl Hollon, said, "In the third installment of the Yvonne Suarez Travel Mystery Series, you will feel all the excitement, mystery and adventure of being on a cruise without gaining a pound indulging in the around the clock dining and exotic cocktails. TOXIC CRUISE is a fast-paced, character-driven race to escape the clutches of an on board killer."

Dingwall is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime, and Florida Writers Association. In December 2015, Dingwall helped to found the Florida Gulf Coast chapter of Sisters in Crime. She is proud to announce that she was elected as their first President.
