Some people eat to live -- I live to eat. I plan lunch during breakfast and dinner not long after that. So I guess it's no surprise that much my first novel, Cold Case, takes place in a restaurant. It's also no surprise that it's set in Santa Fe, New Mexico, one of my favorite places in the world.
I came to writing after careers as a television reporter, advertising executive, and professional chef. I'm a Tennessee native with stops in Ohio and North Carolina before going to college at the University of Virginia. I've lived in New York and Boston but call London home now (one of the finest foodie cities despite what some people say).
