Leslie Blauman

A Colorado teacher for more than 25 years, Leslie is still teaching in the Cherry Creek School District outside Denver. Besides teaching, Leslie works as a national and international consultant in literacy and has presented at IRA, NCTE, CCIRA, and other conferences. She is the author of The Inside Guide to the Reading-Writing Classroom: Strategies for Extraordinary Teaching, 3-6 (2011), Kid-Tested Writing Lessons for Grades 3-6, Daily Workshop Practices That Support the Common Core State Standards (2012), and a coauthor of Comprehension Going Forward (2011) - all from Heinemann.
