Conda V. Douglas

Because Conda writes short, she's succeeded in being a well-published award winning author. Her most recent success is the release of the third in her Write Short to Succeed series, Write Short 3: Successful Author Workbook.

In her writing career, she's published over 100 short stories and articles and has two novel series out. She's been an editor of several magazines and newsletters. For four years, she was a publisher and editor of genre fiction in eBook format.

All of this began with her writing short. Conda has found that writing short has always provided a wealth of information about writing itself. Without it, she'd never have known that she needed to write about what she knew.

As a fifth generation Idahoan what Conda knows is Idaho. Her beloved state and wonderful hometown of ski resort Sun Valley provides a wealth of inspiration, characters, plots and settings for myriad short stories, articles, and her novels. Her childhood was filled with authors and artists and other creative types. She grew up with goats in the kitchen, buffalo bones in the living room and rocks in the bathtub. Most of which have found a way into her writing. Even the buffalo bones.
