Mary Beth Klatt

Mary Beth Klatt, a Chicago native, has been interested in fashion since she was a child and liked sketching models with a box of crayons. She has taught sewing at Vogue Fabrics, the Midwest's no. 1 source for dress fabrics and notions. She taught an Introduction to Fashion Business class at Columbia College, the Midwest's premiere arts college. She has also written an iPhone app, Fabric U, an on-the-go reference guide to 120 fabrics with YouTube tutorials for nearly all entries. Her follow-up, Yarn U, is also a reference guide with more than 300 yarns and online videos about nearly all yarns.
