Mary Beth Witherup

Mary Beth Witherup is the author of two previous children's books, "The Alligator on the Escalator" and "The Turtle and the Butterfly". Those works were done in collaboration with the painter Nicolas Luginbuhl. "Song of the Shepherd Boy" is her first collaboration with illustrator Lee-Ann Helffrich. Ms. Witherup lives in New York City.
