Tracy J. Prince

Tracy J. Prince, Ph.D. is a Research Professor at Portland State University's American Indian Teacher Program. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, she has spent her career teaching and writing about forgotten or overlooked history which she finds by digging through archives and interviewing folks who like to talk about the olden days. Her books make historical research accessible and compelling.

Dr. Tracy Prince has lived all over the world--having taught in or spent extensive research time in Turkey, Australia, England, Canada, France, Malta, and the US (in Oregon, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas). She has taught in Humanities, English, and Urban Studies and Planning departments.
