I adopted the name Microdac in 1982 (and I registered it then in Virginia Beach) and have used it ever since. I found that my name is so common that I was often mistaken for someone else. Though, I must say that I am “glad all over” for the recognition. My real name is Dave Clarke.

I was born in Jamaica but I left before Jamaica became an independent country.

I migrated to West Medford, Massachusetts where I attended High School. In living in Massachusetts (as an immigrant), I honestly thought that all of America was as kind, generous, intelligent, compassionate and as liberal as that state. My shock of the real America was to come later when I went to the south.

My major question when I went to the south was this: Why did the United States choose to go all over the world promoting Human Rights when so many of their own citizens in America had none?

It was (and is) a haunting question in that we, as Americans, find reasons to categorize Americans and, frequently, find excuses to deny them them their rights..

I joined the navy in 1964. In 1966 the Navy sent me to the deep south for School of photography (which turned out to one of many such schools).

I retired from the Navy as a photographer in 1985.

My experiences in the Navy were all educational and, for the most part, mostly good.

After traveling the world, thanks to the Navy, I gained a real good understanding of people, of cultures, of religions, of different political systems and of humanity.

The one constant was summarized by Shakespeare, “… if you prick me, do I not bleed…?”

All people everywhere share the same qualities of love, compassion, benevolence, kindness and an appreciation of Justice. They all want the same thing: Freedom and happiness.

It is through religion and politics that we are made to be different.

I then created my own school of thought (Religion) called Microdacism. Google that word, “Microdacism”

In short I want all people to regain their insight of SELF; their goodness and kindness and then, in thinking for themselves, create their own religion.

Each religion based on the goodness of humanity; being the best human being that he or she can be.

I now live in Virginia Beach and I travel between here and Jamaica frequently.

I have Been married three times to three of the most beautiful women on earth. My children are the best!

So all my eBooks, photos and videos reflect my ministry: Peace, Justice, Harmony, Love and happiness for everyone.

I now live alone in a very modest way. I love my life.
