Peter Glassborow

Elsewhen Press published Peter's sci-fi novel "Franchise" in 2018.

Set in the future, when Earth has one government, it follows a New Zealand family who have a franchise from the Inter Galactic Vending Machine Company. The franchise is to stock and service the Company's massive vending machines that are found on spaceports and refueling stations throughout the galaxy.

Together with their earth and alien pets they only want to be a financial success and get away from the overcrowded Earth. Instead they become entangled in two simultaneous attempts by groups of terrorists to take over a space station.

Soon they are trying to stay alive amongst trigger happy terrorists, one species of which are cannibals, while human and alien intrigues and rescue attempts swirl around them.

Peter was born in London but has lived most of his life in New Zealand. He began submitting to agents and publishers over ten years ago. Hearts on Fire (now Solstice Publishing) made an offer for a ghost novel he had written in Feb 2010. At the same time a New Zealand magazine published a short story he had submitted.

Heady with a double success Peter continued writing and submitting short stories and novels. Solstice Publishing took some of these, eventually publishing six of his books.

Retiring from work (thank god!) Peter has continued writing.

In recent years he had a sci-fi novel published by Elsewhen Press and short stories in Argosy Vol 2, Night Terrors Vol 10, Carmina Magazine, State of Matter and two by CafeLit. Solstice Publishing has published a collection of short stories with the theme of revenge.

He also self published-The Grey Stories (paranormal stories) Sea Soldier (a historical trilogy) and A Fateful Legacy (ghost story)
