Robert A. Caplen

Born and raised in South Florida, Robert A. Caplen earned his undergraduate degree in music and history from Boston University, a graduate degree in history from Boston University, and a law degree from the University of Florida. He has written numerous articles on a variety of constitutional, criminal, government contract, international, and international trade law issues. The creator of the Shaken & Stirred™ series, which studies feminism and popular culture, Robert's first book, SHAKEN & STIRRED: THE FEMINISM OF JAMES BOND, was published in 2010. SHAKEN & STIRRED: THE FEMINISM OF JAMES BOND is the first large-scale academic work in which feminism intersects the world of James Bond. A revised edition was released in 2012.
