Dr. Jane Thielemann-Downs

Jane Thielemann-Downs retired after spending a 25 year career as a Professor of Education in the College of Public Service at the University of Houston Downtown teaching courses in Reading, Language Arts, and Educational Psychology. She has published numerous articles and books for pre-service teachers. She is also inspired to write children's books and enjoys reading to her four grandchildren as she experiences life through their eyes. She tries hard to capture the "wonderment of life" when writing for children. She and her husband enjoy fishing and boating on the Gulf Coast. contact: janietdowns at g mail dot com
