Kirsty Crees

Kirsty Crees was born in England, 1976. At twelve years old her family immigrated to New Zealand for a year; there she began to read lots of fantasy literature as she toured the picturesque country. In 1994, the family moved to the USA, where Kirsty completed a degree in English, and rekindled her passion for literature. After graduating, she moved to Chicago where she met Richard, a traveling student. January 2001, she moved with Richard to Edinburgh, Scotland. There she worked in finance and completed an MBA at Edinburgh University. She married Richard a few years later and began work on her first book, finding inspiration from the historical city. Early 2009 she returned to the USA, and completed her first book 'Prygon: The Circle of Dark Magic.' She now resides outside St Louis, in Chesterfield Missouri with Richard. She has ten nieces and nephews and now eagerly awaits the arrival of her first child.
