Zena Beth McGlashan

The author grew up in Butte, earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Montana, and worked on newspapers Montana, Colorado, New Mexico and California. McGlashan went to grad school in California and Iowa, earning a master’s and a Ph.D. She taught journalism at various universities before returning home to Butte where she is a freelance writer, editor and photographer.
