Diane Windingland

Diane Windingland is the author of several books on communication skills, including Cat Got Your Tongue?, 12 Ways to Be a Confident Speaker, Public Speaking Lessons from TED Talks, and Speech Class for Teens, Revised.

Originally trained as an engineer, Diane now speaks for organizations and coaches individuals who want to communicate more clearly and confidently in high-stakes situations.

A long-time member of Toastmasters International, she holds the Distinguished Toastmaster designation and enjoys mentoring new speakers.

Diane lives near Houston, Texas, with her husband, Kim, where she enjoys the sunshine, tolerates the mosquitoes, and respects hurricane season.
