Am a seriocomic literary (eg, character-driven, well-plotted stories, like Dickens) novelist. Have published 7 novels. 3 are dark-humor thrillers: THE MYSTERIOUS WORLD OF MEN AND WOMEN LOOKING, ONLY THE DEAD CAN TALK, Sexual Terror & BENEFICIAL STRANGERS.

Also 3 volumes of a never-been-told epic-novel series on KING DAVID and his times: Vol 1 The Luck Children, Vol 2 The Badlands, Vol 3 Conquest of Jerusalem (due mid-March, 2016). Completing Vol 4 Bathsheba. The most ambitiously covered and timelined book of the era to date. Maps, illus. Last 6 are all e-books only, at present.

Previously published 2 NF traditional books from a boyhood interest in Indians, AZTECS AND MAYAS (Macmillan; includes obscure tribes); COLUMBUS (Enslow; featuring obscure Indians). Literary writing in Partisan Review, Nation, Sewanee Review, New Leader, etc. Awarded residence at Yaddo Writers’ Colony. One story anthologized; 2 honor rolled in "Best American Short Stories." Personally knew Nobelprizewinner I B Singer and Guggenheim Fellow Wallace Markfield.

Worked for 5 NYC publishers, then in publishing wing of medical/psychiatric advertising at J Walter Thompson, etc for Big Pharma (Merck, Roche, Pfizer, etc) doing films, booklets, seminars, newsletters, campaign launches, etc) in US and Europe, including taped seminars on Shakespeare, Dostoyevsky, Kafka.
