Clay Coppedge has worked in Central Texas as a sportswriter, feature writer, and reporter. His work has appeared in a wide range of newspapers and magazines, including Acres USA, Austin Sun, Austin Chronicle, Elysian Fields Quarterly, Field & Stream, Houston Chronicle, Progressive Farmer, Texas Fisherman, Texas Golfer, Texas Co-op Power, Texas Highways and others. He’s written four books of Texana for History Press and Loaded South: A Taxi Memoir. He lives and writes near Walburg, Texas.
