Rabelani Dagada

Professor Rabelani Dagada, PhD was born in 23 July 1971 in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg, South Africa. Dagada is a Developmental Economist and Associate Professror. He researches on Information and Communications Technology (ICT), manufacturing, and agriculture. Dagada had occupied various positions in academia, public and private sectors. He is also an politicoan and a businessman. He holds Masters of Education in Computer-based Education from the Rand Afrikaans University, Masters of Commerce in Information Systems from the University of the Witwatersrand, and PhD in Information Systems from the University of South Africa. Dagada was honoured by the Institute of Information Technology Professionals South Africa (IITPSA) and ITWeb during the 2008 IITPSA Annual President's Awards Banquet; he received the ICT Visionary Award "in recognition of foresight and achievement in transforming business by adopting and implementing leading-edge technology."
