Lise Saffran

Lise Saffran grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and much of her fiction is set on the West Coast. She began writing seriously at the age of 30 and left a job preventing farm injuries in Missouri to pursue an MFA in fiction writing at the Iowa Writers' Workshop. She currently lives in Columbia, Missouri with her husband and two sons. Juno's Daughters is her first novel.
