M. Leon Smith

Published for over ten years, M. Leon mainly focused on writing short stories and flash fiction before moving to novels. The first in his Young Adult series, The Blue Jackets, has been released and the second book, The Echo Committee, is due for release in 2020.

A diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2009 was the catalyst for M. Leon to begin writing. Formally a touch typist, he lost all feeling in hands and wrote to try and convince his fingers to work - the plan was partly successful!

His latest get-rich-slowly scheme is Esskaye Books, a company with a social consciousness that will publish writers and artists and reward them with a fair pay scale. 10% of any profits will be donated to The MS Society.
