Debbie K Hall

Debbie Hall lives in Southern California with her husband Ted, and their three children, Jared, Jacob and Rachel. Debbie and Ted have been married for 16 years and enjoy being in God’s beautiful nature. Camping, backpacking, and hiking in the Sierra’s are among their favorite outdoor activities. Entertaining and spending time with friends is another enjoyable activity for the Hall’s.

As a busy mother of three, Debbie spends much of her time driving her children from one activity to another and volunteering at the children’s public school. Debbie was involved in starting a Bible Study for the mom’s at the school and sharing her story of faith. Debbie is a lifelong member of a support group of mother’s who have a child with a disability. She spends much of her time advocating for families as a special education liaison and supports parents through the individual education planning process.

Three years ago, Debbie started a Sibling Support Group at her home church in Fullerton, California for children who are living with a brother or sister with a disability. This group has been instrumental in helping young people realize that they are not alone in the frustrations associated with the sacrifices a family has to make for another’s disability. The focus of the support group is to bring biblical principles into the lives of young people who are struggling with issues of fear, anger, uncertainty, and neglect.

Currently, Debbie is a bible teacher at First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton and helps lead worship. She also continues to co-lead the Sibling Support Group at the church. Debbie also frequently speaks at local Women’s events. Her topics include, Trusting God in the Tough Times which is based on her book of the same name. The Spiritual Nurturing of our Kids is another topic that is close to Debbie’s heart and is a must, especially for young mom’s.
