A former librarian with a lifelong passion for the dust and drama of history, Rupert is the creator of the History In An Hour series, which was acquired by HarperCollins UK. Today, he dedicates his time to crafting emotional, deeply researched 20th-century historical fiction—or, as he likes to call it, stories of war, resilience, and heart.

Though he was raised in a rambling manor house in the Devon countryside (it’s been downhill ever since), he now lives in London with his wife, two children, and a remarkably fluffy cockapoo.
