Mardi Allen

Mardi Allen earned her doctorate in psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi. She completed an internship at Primary Children's Medical Center and Post-doctoral training at the Neurology, Learning and Behavior Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has appeared on television and radio to discuss mental health issues and has authored training manuals and videos.

She was selected for APA’s Heizer Award and the Congressional Fellowship Program. As a Fellow on Capitol Hill, she provided expertise in policy development for health and education. Dr. Allen is a past-president of the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards and currently serves as Clinical Services Liaison, Mississippi Department of Mental Health and Consultant to the Mississippi Board of Psychology while maintaining an independent practice.
