I am the former Washington Editor of Barron's, the Dow Jones Business and Financial Weekly. I was a White House Correspondent and a banking and markets expert. I covered Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.
During a 34-year career as a journalist, I worked for many major newspapers and magazines, including American Banker, USA Today, The Philadelphia Daily News, The Dallas Times Herald, the Asbury Park Press, the Somerset Messenger-Gazette, and TV Guide. I am a frequent guest on radio, where I am called upon to discuss politics and the economy. I've appeared on every major cable news television network and on NBC Nightly News.
My non-fiction book on the U.S. stock market and the Flash Crash of May 6, 2010 was released on March 24, 2011 by FT Press. The title: "Crapshoot Investing: How Tech Savvy Traders and Clueless Regulators Turned Wall Street into a Casino."
I've also written the self-published sci-fi romance, "Onion Heads" and a self-published children's book, "The Amazing Aerobatic Adventures of RAF Bunny," which was inspired by the Battle of Britain.
