I have twenty years of experience in the field of adaptive physical education and recreation for the disabled. Before becoming an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher, I started out as a classroom teacher working with learning disabled students. I am a trained instructor in the "Lose the Training Wheels" bike riding program. In addition, I am certified as a MOVE (Mobility Opportunities Via Education) site trainer. I received my BA degree in adaptive physical education at Sonoma State University and my Master's degree in Movement Learning from Sacramento State University. Currently I am working on a new book about creative homemade APE games and learning tools. I can be contacted at jimape@sonic.net.
