Rob Hann

I write children's rhyme and story books. The Grumblegroar won the NEW WRITER'S CHILDREN'S BOOK of the YEAR 2012.

My latest book is 'The Quangle Wangle's Back!' which is a sequel to the classic nonsense rhyme by Edward Lear (the Quangle Wangle's Hat') and contains his original rhyme, my new poem and a biography outlining the amazing life of Lear, all illustrated by Howard Barton in the style of Lear in black and white.

I also wrote a prize winning non-fiction novel - SAS Operation Galia, which won the IMPRESS PRIZE in 2008/09 in its first edition. The second edition is now available in paperback and e-format and is a tribute to all the men who took part in Operation Galia, one of whom was my late father Stanley.

Many other stories are in development and one other is in published form - The Legend of Sidney Sneed, the centipede and star of the mini-beast football league. Sidney is looking for football clubs to play grassroots football, having played a season with Brentford FC ('the Bees'). .
