Michael Orozco

I Michael Orozco, have been a Police Officer for over 25-years with the South Tucson Police department (2.5 years) and Tucson Police Department combined. I worked in various details within each of the departments. In 1998 I became a member of the Hostage Negotiation Unit and retired as a member of that unit. In July 2000 I was promoted to detective and was assigned to the Dependant Child Unit (DCU). I remained in that unit until my retirement in August 2010. I stayed working in DCU because of it's importance in investigating child crimes. I believe that I have become an expert in that field with the knowledge and experiance that I developed over the 10-years of working in that unit. It is the most difficult type of crime to investigate but I have found that it is what I do best. I hope that this book will further help in Child Abuse Awareness and to hopefully prevent children from being attacked by their abusers through community awareness. It should be noted that I would like to address a couple of reviews that had been posted, some of the proceeds from the book are donated to the AZ Children's Advocacy Center in Tucson and I am also a member of the board of directors. Another note of interest is that I spoke to Jaimie(mother of the children) and advised her of the book before it came out, she gave her blessing. Thank you
