Sr. Richard A. Heyman

Mr. Heyman is a retired entrepreneur who had previously owned and operated Motels and Restaurants, a construction and land development company for over 30 years before retiring and resuming his artistic career.

Richard is a professional artist, who specializes in doing portraits and form sketches, oil paintings, and various mixed media and abstracts. Mr. Heyman is a registered professional artist with the Ohio Arts Commission, as well as an Internationally recognized Poet and Author. He is a three (3) time recipient of the Editor's Choice Award for outstanding works in traditional Poetry dealing with rhyme and rythm.

After significant encouragement from friends and his publisher, Mr. Heyman wrote the first of his Four Book series about a young pup named Jack who is adopted by a young family, and befriended by an old street wise Labrador Retriever who instructs him in life's valuable lessons. Inspired by Beach Boy songs played on a record player by his owner, Jack's goal is to become a world renowned Surfer.
