Eugene Wytrykus

E. R. (Gene) Wytrykus retired after over 3 decades as an auditor and took up creative writing as a retirement hobby. He has published, through Wheat Field Publications, several books. "By The Short Hairs" is a collection of short stories, a combination of fiction and non-fiction. His novels are: "The King of Coins", which used Gene's interest in numismatics and an incident during his years as an auditor to form the basis of this story of international intrigue; "The Money Run", which used Gene's job with the Army in Vietnam in the 60s as the basis for this mystery; "The Girls of His Dreams", a time-travel mystery about a grieving man whose dreams back in time present him with the possibility of saving his fiancé, who was killed in a bizarre robbery; "Family Ties", in which two friends of different generations find that their search for their fathers may tie them closer together than they had anticipated; "The Connections Trilogy", which follows three people who are drawn into each other's lives at a time when all are going through personal crises. The novels in the trilogy are: "A Stone To Roll", "A Road of Your Own", and "On My Way Home". Gene's also written "The 9th Inning" a dramatic novella focused on the last batter in a championship baseball game. He's latest offering is "Singularity", a thriller in which a former secret agent is blackmailed into returning to the world of spies and chicanery in order to recover evidence of a remarkable discovery by a scientist long thought dead.

Gene lives in Lincoln, CA. with his wife who is a published author in the field of bariatrics and dietary issues.
