Angela Lewis

Angela Lewis lives in Melbourne, Australia and has spent most of her working life in IT education, which continues to be her day job. After studying to be a relationship counsellor more than a decade ago (but choosing not to practice), she began to publish in the field of sociology and the internet, which led to researching the many creative ways in which people explored their sexuality.

Time on her hands after completing a PhD in education in 2006 resulted in a four year project of meeting and interviewing people who enjoyed alternative sexualities. During this time she met many new and interesting people who generously and bravely shared their personal stories, resulting in her first book, My Other Self.
