Thuyen Nguyen

Thuyen Nguyen is a writer from Melbourne, Australia. He was once a professional games designer. Like any dream job, the perks were attractive: free games. In the same vain, he hopes to one day work in a candy factory.

As a comic fan, he was witness to the great Image uprising of the 1990's, and his speculative comic purchases and attempts to procure variant covers help fuel the comic market crash that same decade. He started work on his "A Question of Promise" comic series in 2000.

He considers himself a terrible artist, but a competent writer. As such, he published his first novel "Note to Self" in 2010 with the tagline, 'A story about an average guy and the girls who made him.' It's not biographical, but some of it is true.

His second novel "Game Trivia Catechism" (aka "The King of Game Trivia") (2013) is full of video game goodness.

His picture book series "Isabella's Big Adventure" (2015) follows Isabella, a girl who always smiles and knows how to handle the situation. Cool as a cucumber, but as quiet as a mouse, with a smile so wide that you can’t help but be charmed!
