Randy was born in Bolivia, South America. He grew up bilingual and bi-cultural in Bolivia and the United States. He has a Master's Degree in Counseling, specializing in Marriage and Family. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Washington.
His scope of practice has been marriage, family, mental health and the treatment of domestic violence perpetrators. He presently facilitates Life Skills classes for parents involved in Child Protective Services. For over a decade he has established and facilitated domestic violence treatment programs on American Indian Reservations.
His practice in the trenches, education and life experience has resulted in a tested and refined guide to happiness with practical solutions to universal struggles that plague all humans.
Randy currently lives in a cabin in the emerald forests of Washington State. He remains married to the love of his youth and continues to write. He's a proud father and grandfather. He has completed his second book, Thoughts of a Man, under the pen name Syrus Pakai.
