Adrian S. Bruce

Dr. Adrian Bruce, BScOptom PhD FAAO is a Lead Optometrist at the Australian College of Optometry in Melbourne, Australia. Dr Bruce is also a Senior Fellow, Department of Optometry and Vision Sciences, University of Melbourne. Dr Bruce is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a past-recipient of the Dallos Award for research from the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA).

Dr Bruce's most recent book is the 2nd edition of Anterior Eye Disease and Therapeutics A-Z, published in 2011 with co-author Melbourne ophthalmologist, Michael S Loughnan. This book has a number of unique features, including the differential diagnosis charts for all conditions, the easy access "at a glance" double-page format, the A-Z organisation and therapeutics appendix. There are additional on-line resources for the book at the publishers Evolve website.

Anterior Eye Disease and Therapeutics A-Z is written for the US market, including information on US topical drugs. It is also available for Kindle.

The companion volume, Posterior Eye Disease and Glaucoma A-Z has recently become out of print. it may return it to availability in the future, but it could take a while.

Manual of Contact Lens Prescribing and Fitting with CD-ROM 3rd edition, is authored with Milton Hom OD FAAO. Dr Hom practices in Azusa, Calif. He is a multi-award winner, most recently winning the 2012 AOA CLCS Legend Award.
