Leslie McCarthy

Leslie (Les) J. McCarthy, though born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, has lived most of her adult life in the Denver area. She is mom to a wonderful son and daughter, a large lab, 3 pugs, 2 cats and a visiting squirrel! She owns a publishing company specializing in health and nutritional educational outreach materials and hopes to open a dog boutique and bakery in the next few years. Les enjoys writing, laughing with friends, entertaining, and traveling. A move is in the near future with the NW or Kentucky as strong contenders for her relocation though given the chance she'd go to Paris, Copenhagen or England in a heartbeat. She has several childrens' picture books in the works and just published her first novel: "148 Days ~ A Journey of Love and Loss" (recounting her husband's illness and passing to cancer).
