Tom grew up in the West, but has lived in the South for the past 50 years. He and his wife, Judy, live on a small farm in rural West Tennessee with an abundance of critters including dogs, cats, chickens, horses and cows. Much of his time is involved in manure management and writing. He retired from a career in health care business management and was active in community organizations and projects. "Truthful Moments" was selected to be in the 2011 Southern Festival of Books. Followed by: "Innocence Killed," "Cedar Grove, Stories." and "The Long Ride to Forever." "The Bench" is the last recent fiction book. "Turn to Me" is a shift in writing to focus on a religious angle away from fiction.
