Uwe Kreisel (English pronunciation: /ˈuːvə ˈkraɪsəl/; born 1961 in Mannheim, Germany) is a writer and textbook author in the fields of linguistics, ESL, and cross-cultural topics.

Uwe Kreisel's travel books focus on cross-cultural interferences and aim at providing practical solutions for the many pitfalls of traveling abroad. His books, all published in Germany, have been in reviewed by major newspapers, such as 'Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung' and 'Die Zeit'.
