Rain Pebble

My name is Teneka Harrison (Facebook Native American name Rain Pebble), I am an Early Childhood Educator, with a BA in Liberal Art and a MSEd. I am a newly single mother of two children after the loss of my 17 year relationship with my Junior High School sweet heart.

During the times of hardships in my personal life and the break up of my family, I experienced anger, hurt and confusion. It was through the adversities I faced in love and relationships that lead to the development of Alone with My heart, an Inspirational Journey of self love.

Readers will be interested in my unique voice as an author. It speaks encouragement and inspiration, as it uplifts the mind, body and spirit, allowing readers to release their own emotions.

Every word was written from the essence of the heart. A true broken heart and spirit fighting the temptation to give up; to fall to emotional and mental victimization. We've all experienced heartbreak, disappointment, pain, dysfunction and loss. The outcome of these afflictions are determined by how we defuse the situations to reach our purpose.

I believe my divine purpose is to inspire and uplift. "Life is hard enough when you face adversities alone. I would like to be a stepping stone in your journey to life recovery, showing you that no challenge is too difficult to over come. Life is about finding your purpose. It is about going through the storms of life. In times of devastation you must reach into your soul, spirit and mind to keep on keeping on. Cry or scream if you must, but never give up. God challenges individuals to bring them closer to him. We were all created from love. We were not born to suffer because of disappointing life experiences"
