David C. Bienert

Dr. David C. Bienert was born 1976 in Cologne. He studied Theology, Islamic Studies and Philosophy at the University of Muenster/Westf., at Dormition Abbey Jerusalem and the KiHo Wuppertal. After his Theological Examination he worked as a scientific assistant for New Testament Studies at the Department of Protestant Theology in Muenster, where he passed his doctoral exam in 2011 (2014) with a dissertation about the Eucharist in Johannine literature (published in 2020). From 2012 to 2020 he worked as a Pastor for the Evangelical Church of Hesse electorate Waldeck (EKKW); since August 2020 he works as a Pastor (at School) for the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland.
