Martin Schenk

Born in 1970, studied psychology at the University of Vienna, is a social expert at Diakonie Austria and co-initiator of the Austrian Poverty Conference. His focus is on health, children/youth welfare and education.

Schenk is co-initiator of numerous social initiatives: "Hunger for Art and Culture" (culture for people without money), involved in the beginnings of the Hemayat association (therapy for traumatized people), social law network (law enforcement), early help, health goals in Austria co-developed from the beginning.

Many years of work with homeless people, support for socially disadvantaged young people and refugee aid.

Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Social Work program at Campus Vienna and Joanneum Graz.
