Edgar Franzmann

Edgar E. Franzmann is a journalist and crime writer based in Cologne, Germany.

He began writing NEUROPA 77 at the age of 76 — while undergoing treatment for leukemia, a lung tumor, and a cerebral sinus thrombosis.

His protagonist Jonathan Goldt is also 76, with six months left before his 77th birthday changes everything.

Franzmann has published several crime novels in German, including the Georg Rubin series.

NEUROPA 77 is his first dystopian novel and his first work in English.
