Michael Urselmann

Prof. Dr. Michael Urselmann has been Professor of Social Management with a research focus on fundraising since 2004, since 2005 at the TH Köln - University of Applied Sciences. In addition, he advises non-profit organisations on all aspects of fundraising (www.urselmann.de).

His dissertation on "Success Factors in Fundraising for Nonprofit Organisations", completed in 1997, was awarded the Lorenz Werthmann Prize of the German Caritas Association in 1999. His classic book "Fundraising - Professionelle Mittelbeschaffung für gemeinwohlorientierte Organisationen" was published in its 7th edition in 2018. Urselmann is the editor of the "Fundraising Handbook", which was published in its 2nd edition in 2020.
