Luc Bürgin

Luc Bürgin was born in 1970 in Basel (Switzerland), where he studied German language and literature, folklore, musicology and media studies from 1990. In 1993/1994, he dropped out of his studies and began his career as a journalist and author. Until 1998, Bürgin worked as an editor for several Swiss newspapers. Until 2002, he worked as editor-in-chief of a local daily newspaper before turning his back on the mainstream media. From 2004 to 2019, he was publisher and editor-in-chief of the newsstand magazine "MYSTERIES" in Switzerland, Austria and Germany (circulation: 27,000 issues). His numerous non-fiction books on mysterious phenomena and controversial discoveries have now been published in 13 languages. Most recently published: "Lexikon der verbotenen Geschichte" (Rottenburg 2018), "Neues aus Absurdistan - Sind wir noch zu retten?"
