Bill Lauritzen is an author, educator, scientist, and visionary. His first book was "The Invention of God." Daniel Dennett met with Bill at the Santa Fe Institute (see photo), read the book, and later wrote, "Lauritzen has some good ideas." Sir Arthur C. Clarke, inventor of the communications satellite, after reading part of the book, called Bill “some kind of genius.” Harry Kroto, Nobel Prize winner in chemistry, invited Bill to an international conference. He is currently working on a follow up book called "Atoms and Souls: The Prehistoric Origins of Science and Religion." Among his other accomplishments, Bill invented a new number system, designed a modern-day Stonehenge, and wrote a paper explaining the value of geodesic domes. He taught at a national university in China, Xiamen University, from 2010 to 2018.
