Simon Ackers

Proud to be a creator of both fiction and non-fiction titles.

Inspired by classic works such as Wilkie Collins' 'The Woman In White' and Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, in 2003 he wrote the first draft of 'Mr Blessington's Secret', the first in the Victorian-era series of 'The James Gregory Mysteries'. A paperback version of 'Mr Blessington's Secret' will soon be available, as will the second book in the series.

Then came 'A Matter of Trust', an engaging modern day story that is character led but with plenty of twists to keep you guessing.

‘Sheepy & the Dance Show’ was written for my daughter and then a family effort to illustrate it for publication.

Coming soon is the latest modern day novel 'To Doubt or Believe' so be sure to follow to be updated when this is released.

Favourite authors (in no particular order) include Wilkie Collins, Arthur Conan Doyle, Robert Goddard, Lee Child, James Holland, Paul Torday, Jasper Fforde, Dudley Pope.

There are also the bus books. What started out as a lockdown project has turned into a series of four books looking at bus scene on Merseyside, all published by Amberley Publishing.
