Melissa Conklin

Melissa Conklin is the author of the Math Solutions highly acclaimed It Makes Sense series. The series includes resources on ten frames and hundreds charts with the focus on building students' number sense. Melissa is a former classroom teacher, Math Solutions Professional Development Specialist and now creates and delivers professional development for Pre-K through 5th grade. Her main educational interests include how young children develop number sense, bridging the gap from concrete learning to abstract thought, effectively integrating technology into the classroom, and how to effectively use formative assessment.
